We also offer a blended hybrid version of this class which combines online and in-person instruction.
The virtual portion will teach you the fundamentals via an easy-to-use online portal. Expect this to take 2-3 hours depending on your speed.
After that is completed, an AHA instructor will meet with you for a 45 minute to 1 hour in-person class to go over hands-on skills, reinforce concepts learned online, and give you real-world tips and tricks. We make sure that each student leaves with the skills needed to provide emergency care and with all questions answered.
You will receive the same two-year certification as a student that took the full “in-person” class. To make sure you are always up to date and certified, we will send reminder emails and offer recertification courses.
